Let's jazz up this Sunday morning

Sonny Rollins (sax), Don Cherry (trumpet), Billy Higgins (drums), and Henry Grimes (bass):

Saw this over at Kai's blog a while back and was meaning to share it over here. Rollins has been a giant in the jazz world for several decades. Cherry and Higgins worked together (Higgins a bit more intermittently) in Ornette Coleman's classic 1950s & early 1960s recordings and gigs. Henry Grimes was a regular sideman on a number of free jazz recordings during the mid 1960s, and is still very much alive and kicking, recently reviving his music career after a nearly four decade hiatus.

Hope y'all dig this little slice of jazz heaven.
