A trip down memory lane, of sorts

"Although they were aware of the threat, FEMA failed to issue a timely warning to citizens in the storm's path or to prepare for the aftermath," Myanmar Prime Minister Soe Win said.

"It's troubling that many of the residents of New Orleans learned of this impending disaster only when foreign outlets, such as al Jazeera, sounded the alarm."

Asked by a reporter whether he was accusing the Bush Administration of having "blood on their hands," he said it was clear they are "very inept."
